Dr. Markie Twist is a licensed marriage and family therapist and mental health counselor, clinical fellow and approved supervisor, and certified sexuality educator and certified sexuality educator supervisor. Dr. Markie has been working as a clinician in various states, via different mediums, with a diversity of relational systems and configurations, and with myriad presenting problems for roughly 17 years. Dr. Markie has been engaging in supervisory practices for approximately 12 years, and has been consulting with professionals for 6 years.

Dr. Markie Twist is accepting new clients and/ supervisees, and remains available for consultation with couple and family therapists, mental and relational health providers, medical providers, professionals within sex-related industries, legal professionals, educators, and other professionals in need of information and feedback. The areas in which Dr. Markie regularly consults include the following: sexual orientation, digisexuality, gender and gender identity, polyamory and consensual non-monogamy, sex positive and comprehensive education, Tantric sex, BDSM/Kink identities and practices, sexual issues and problems, eco-informed psychotherapy, online therapy and supervision, research collaboration, feminist-informed therapy, affirmative therapy practices, and the role of technology in the lives of individuals, couples, families and relational systems.

Dr. Markie will hold sessions via distance. Dr. Markie currently only accepts private pay for these sessions. Dr. Markie’s fees are on sliding scale.
